As CEO, Gavin has steered Here East from a concept within a winning bid and through the subsequent design, refurbishment and operational phases. Leading a team with a 100% vision-led approach to business, Gavin ensures that Here East maintains a horizon scanning approach to be ready to enable the growth of new and often interconnecting sectors. 

Here East has maintained a strong focus on esports and games since they saw the growth indicators early on. Having created a technology focused creative campus on the home of the London Olympics, Here East saw how it could play a role as an enabler to the sector, where sports meet tech, and looks at ways to solve the real estate needs of the sector.

Gavin is a board member of Plexal, Here East’s sister company and innovation centre, sits on the advisory board of London Tech Advocates and Global Tech Advocates and is an Advisor/Judge to Stadia Ventures, the global sports innovation hub for early-stage investment in sports and esports.
