Director Sports and Entertainment Buro HappoldDavid Hines is a Director within the Venue Consultancy team at Buro Happold. He has worked internationally on some of the world’s most prominent sports and entertainment buildings such as the Sochi Olympic Stadium in Russia and the Aviva Stadium in Ireland, as well as the proposed new arena for MSG in Stratford, east London. His extensive experience of the architectural design of global sports venues and his expertise of digital practice and BIM execution led to a very keen interest in the eSports industry. David is particularly focussing on how to manage the increasing complexity of the design process as we take a more holistic view of buildings, ensuring we are maximising the potential of sports & entertainment venues.
